How Djinn Command Mechanics Work
Each Djinn comes with:
One base command skill
Three additional command abilities, unlocked through Path of Exile 2 Currency Ascendancy points
However, Ascendancy points are limited. This means most builds will specialize in one primary Djinn and optionally invest in a second, rather than fully unlocking all three. This limitation creates meaningful decisions and encourages experimentation rather than one-size-fits-all setups.
Because Djinns do not tank damage or pull threat, Disciple of Varashta Sorceresses must heavily invest in defenses such as Energy Shield, Mana sustain, or hybrid mitigation. This Ascendancy rewards proactive play rather than passive power.
